ABOUT US

JW Hart & Associates, LLC (JWH) is a Texas-based environmental consulting firm with 60 years of combined experience providing high quality environmental services to federal, municipal, special district, construction and industrial clients. Our management and environmental experience encompasses all aspects of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Our services include environmental resource management, funding, permitting, field investigations, inspections and monitoring.

We also offer GIS services and solutions that cover GIS implementation, needs assessment, spatial data development and database management. Our GIS services provide clients with high performance and extended database usability. 

Additionally, we provide field data collection and mapping services for our clients. JWH utilizes state-of-the-art GPS units including Trimble® and Topcon® units.

John W. Hart, President

John W. Hart, president, offers 30 years of experience managing multi-disciplinary environmental planning and analysis programs, and developing and conducting training programs for client staff to implement future programs. He has been responsible for industrial wastewater and municipal wastewater plant operations and maintenance, NPDES point source permitting, stormwater permitting, industrial user permitting, stormwater pollution prevention plan development, Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure plan development, and Corps of Engineers nationwide permitting. He also has experience in watershed and water-body planning and analysis, waste minimization, hazardous and Class I waste disposal, land application and treatment of sludge, Tier II reporting under SARA Title III, Phase I evaluations, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality Voluntary Cleanup Program administration, emergency response coordination, Environmental Impact Statements and Environmental Assessments.

Samantha Drumm, Associate

Samantha (Roberts) Drumm was born in Waco, Texas, and graduated from Texas Christian University in 2009. She has an Advertising/Public Relations degree and a certificate in Geographic Information Systems. She has seven years of experience with JWH with municipal, industrial and transportation clients, helping to streamline stormwater management programs. She also has experience with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, database creation and management, GPS mapping, coordination with regulatory councils and business development. Samantha is Secretary of the EPA Region 6 Stormwater Conference Committee.
